  • Rosanna M-- They only reimburse you for 10 days thats what it is when you pcs anywhere. And it's been a few years since we were there and didn't have that problem but I *think* they have temp housing.

  • Jazna S-- What everyone else said but if you go ahead and get on the wait list depending on what # bedroom house you need it usually takes 2 wks for them to find you housing..so if you're able to time it right you may be able to go straight into housing without having to even go into temp housing

  • Mandy T--We recently came from Germany to Polk and thought we would have to look off post for temp housing but found they had some on base. It's pretty crappy but it is furnished so if like us your stuff isn't arriving til a month after you get here than it was definitely nice. You can stay up to 30 days there and if you have tto stay after that then they just take your BAH. They charge you a cleaning fee straight up and there is an extra charge if you have any pets
